Opportunities, Inc. RSVP volunteers serve their communities in a large assortment of ways including hospital auxiliary members, hospice workers, literacy programs, children-at-risk programs, transportation needs, various community committees, beautification programs, city councils, TRIAD, VITA sites and many other various ways.  Many of our seniors deliver meals on wheels and check on the welfare of others daily.

From July 2005 through June 2006, 711 Opportunities, Inc. RSVP Volunteers logged over 125,885 volunteer hours saving their communities over $670,879 in wages.

The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program needs you in order to be successful.  The experience and maturity you bring to our program is invaluable.  Volunteering gives you the chance to pass on a lifetime of experience and wisdom.  Becoming a member of RSVP gives you a chance to find your niche in society again.  It gives you a chance to make a difference in the world, to provide leadership and to give to your community.
