wpeF2.jpg (4773 bytes)Blaine County Emergency Management Director is Janell Wood.   She is responsible for performing emergency management functions within the Blaine County area.  She is responsible for developing, maintaining and revising, as necessary, an emergency operations plan for Blaine County.  The plan(s) address the emergency management system functions of preparedness, response, recovery and mitigation.   She coordinates her plan with the Oklahoma State Office of Oklahoma Emergency Management.

Blaine County Flood Plain

Management Program

Opportunities, Inc. Blaine County Floodplain Administrator is Janell Wood.  According to the Unified National Program, there are two main goals of the local Floodplain Administrator:

  1. Protect and preserve the natural and beneficial functions of the floodplain: and

  2. Reduce flood damages to personal property and reduce number of lives lost from flooding events.
